How to read symbols?

The RALCO company has developed new system of spare parts symbols, to make their identification easier. All of the codes start with three letters which enable identification of the particular spare part type i.e. PST – piston, PLT - valve plate etc.

The next part of each symbol is a sequence of four numbers. First of them stands for brand of the compressor. For example, the codes which start with „4” stand for „GRASSO”, the codes which start with 7 stand for SABROE. The second number of the sequence represents type of the compressor. E.g. 70 represents SABROE SMC, 71 represents SABROE CMO-1 type.
